Moisture

A few days ago army worms ate our lawn and mold invaded Steve’s building. We were cursing the humidity. But as I left work yesterday, the warm, moist air fragranced with jasmine, magnolia, and something green breathed against my skin and I had to smile as I was enveloped and caressed by the same kind airs that also kissed the mold and the army worms and all the other creatures of the lovely reclaimed swamp we call Memphis.
