Countdown: Four Stories Left

At this point the people who began the Great Challenge at the moment it started and lasted out the 52 stories in 52 weeks have won. I know one of them and his stories are excellent. He finished in time for his Easter Celebration. I started a month after the first start day and so I will be done in four weeks (four more stories).

Last night’s story, “Time Librarian,” looks at the life of one person who does the data analysis to allow others to travel through time. It’s going to be my entry to the Superstars anthology this year once I edit it.

I have another story due early this week for the Short Story Intensive, which starts on the 17th. The story, “What Elijah Brings” is about loneliness in the Time of Isolation and what happens at a Zoom seder. It begins a bit sadder than most of my other stories, but it should have a happy ending.

I am not certain how much time I will have during the short story workshop for blogging and communicating with folks. I’ll try to update the blog, but I may fail. I probably won’t be as available via phone or messaging as I normally am. So, if I am not communicating with you, check the calendar. If the dates are between April 17 and April 21, I’m in the intensive.

I hope your life is filled with goodness. Be well, friends! And stay well.
