Here is something that made me smile today: Kristine Kathryn Rusch and Dean Wesley Smith have put together a Kickstarter for Make 100 Project. They’ll be putting together 100 short stories in ten volumes, half by each. They’re fun writers and Kristine Kathryn Rusch is one of my favorite science fiction writers. So the stories are good.
But here is what made me smile. In their Kickstarter video they talk about their early collaborations, how https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/403649867/colliding-worlds-a-make-100-projectthey did it, and why the don’t collaborate on fiction now. I thought this was fascinating and recommend that you check out their Kickstarter just for that.
They also have two writing workshops offered in this on writing science fiction short stories and writing about the vastness of space, as well as several other courses. I love how Dean and Kris teach and their Kickstarters are a great way to get their courses.
I thought you might need a smile today. If you are a writer or a science fiction reader, I think you will find this smile-worthy.
Be well, friends!
